The AIR Institute is a non-profit research center with around 100 employees, dedicated to promoting and advancing scientific research in the field of computer science and artificial intelligence. With workplaces in Valladolid and Salamanca, we are in a phase of expansion.
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced React Native Developer to join our distributed ledger technologies team. This role is crucial for developing innovative mobile applications and implementing advanced technological solutions in national and European R&D projects.
Responsibilities:
- Mobile application development using React Native.
- Implementation of user interfaces focused on usability and accessibility.
- Working with Expo Go for efficient app building and deployment.
- Collaboration across all phases of the software development life cycle, from conception to implementation.
- Contribution to the design and architecture of new mobile solutions.
- Active participation in problem-solving and optimizing application performance.
- Teamwork to achieve common goals and meet delivery deadlines.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Higher Professional Training in the field of computer science.
- Demonstrable experience in mobile development with React Native.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Git, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Expo Go.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactivity, dynamism, and a methodological approach to software development.
Recommended:
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of UX/UI for mobile applications.
- Experience with backend technologies like Node.js.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing.
- Interest or experience in Blockchain and Smart Contracts.
- Familiarity with technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
