Technology is rapidly transforming different sectors, and the primary sector is no exception. On this occasion, Salamanca Tech is pleased to invite professionals from the meat, hospitality and wine industries to a unique event that will explore how technology is revolutionising these sectors in Salamanca.

Our colleagues Pablo Plaza, Daniel Pérez and Manuel López have participated in Capture The Flag JNIC 2023. A virtual competition organised by the Viewnext-UEX Chair on "Security and Auditing of Software Systems", which aims to detect and reward the new promises of cybersecurity in Spain.

Salamanca Tech brings together entrepreneurs in innovation, digital industry and tourism. The event, organised by AIR Institute and BISITE, featured two roundtables and was attended by the rector of the University of Salamanca and the town's Mayor.

On June 21st, the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers (Fedit) has just held its annual assembly, where it has approved the incorporation of NODDO (Network of Centers of Castilla y León) as a full member.

One of the most promising technologies today is Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). With the aim of disseminating this knowledge, a technology breakfast entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Security Operations Center" was held on June 20, 2023, at the Business Bioincubator located in the Boecillo Technology Park in Valladolid.

The Network of Technology Centres of Castilla y León, NODDO, a private non-profit organisation that brings together the nine technology centres of Castilla y León and an initiative financed by the Regional Government of Castilla y León through the ICE, the Institute for Business Competitiveness, held its official presentation in Palecia's emblematic venue, the Main Theatre, with over 120 attendees from the world of innovation and technology.

The AI Segovia Summit is an event framed within the Centr@Tec Programme and organised by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) in collaboration with the Air Institute. An activity that seeks to encourage discussion and exchange of knowledge on the advances and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in today's world.

The 5th International Conference on Blockchain and Applications (BLOCKCHAIN'23) will be held in Guimarães from 12 to 14 July 2023. This annual congress, organised by the University of Salamanca, the University of Minho, the University of Montreal LASI, IPG, IIIT, ISEP, IPB and Fidesol and sponsored by Air Institute and Indra, will bring together researchers and practitioners of blockchain and other technologies, who will share the ideas and advances associated with these technologies.
