AIR Institute reviews the progress of the Certify project at the plenary meeting in Paris

AIR Institute gathered with the 11 remaining partners of Certify on 26th and 27th November in Paris to hold the fifth plenary meeting of the project, primarily organised by Red Alert Labs.

The main objective of this meeting was to review the actions carried out in the last period in preparation for the increasingly imminent proposal of a cybersecurity infrastructure for IoT devices, which could be used in sectors such as aerospace, industry, and commerce.

Among the agreements made by Certify for the upcoming period, one notable initiative is the development of an industrial cybersecurity course proposed by AIR Institute. This course will cover topics related to cybersecurity in IoT environments and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). This free course, primarily aimed at the business sector, will be available on the online platform e4YOU from March to June 2025 and will award a certificate of attendance to participants upon completion.

In the first half of the year, AIR Institute will also be responsible for organising and developing two info days, where stakeholders will discuss the specifications of the Policy-Makers Plan. To stay informed about the dates of these info days and the registration process, follow their LinkedIn and Twitter profiles.

Certify: the path to cybersecurity in IoT devices

Certify focuses on finding an innovative security solution for IoT environments that enables the maintenance and reconfiguration of customisable embedded devices in various industrial settings. The aim is to promote an operational management approach to security based on bootstrapping and the monitoring of malicious attacks on IoT devices.
