AIR Institute presents new Ixolite project developments at Salamaq: Innovations in livestock and agricultural automation

Last Sunday, on 8 September, we presented the advances of the Ixolite project at Salamaq, demonstrating how artificial intelligence is transforming cattle farming.

What is Ixolite?
Ixolite is an innovative project is in its second year, and it is in the process of validating artificial intelligence models applied to animal positioning data. The project started in March 2023, and its development is expected to be completed within three years.

Together with our partner Ixorigue technologies, our main objective is to develop and validate a new monitoring solution for large livestock farms.

To achieve this goal, Ixolite focuses on three key areas:
1. Real-time detection of animal health and behaviour: constant monitoring to identify health problems and improve productivity.
2. Livestock management optimisation: Using data to maximise operational efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Pasture production forecasting: Satellite and climate analysis to better manage natural resources and livestock feed.

With Ixolite, AIR Institute is committed to more efficient and sustainable livestock farming, combining advanced technology with traditional practices. The future of livestock farming is already here!
