AIR Institute Expands its AI Technological Services to Its New Location in Zamora

As part of the initiatives stemming from the “Plan to Boost Economic Activity in Zamora and its Surrounding Area,” the AIR Institute has opened a new office in Zamora, reinforcing its commitment to fostering local and regional development through digital transformation and innovation.

The new AIR Institute office is located in the "La Aldehuela" Innovation Hub, alongside other organizations focused on technology and innovation, such as the Cluster of Innovative Solutions for Independent Living (SIVI), CARTIF, the INTRAS Foundation, and Gamez Studio, among others.

The primary objective of AIR Institute in this region is to spearhead the development of an AI and generative AI platform. Additionally, the institute will focus on research in data sciences, federated learning models, and the integration and development of DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) solutions.

Through this new facility, the city expects to create 30 job opportunities in fields such as engineering, computer science, and other scientific disciplines. These positions will be open to both experienced professionals and students or recent graduates in these fields.

Zamora: An Emerging Tech and Innovation Hub

In the province of Zamora, the regional government of Castilla y León is investing 58 million euros to drive technological and innovative growth. This initiative aims to generate a significant number of jobs and attract skilled talent to the region.

The "La Aldehuela" Innovation Hub is designed to establish Zamora as a center of excellence in technology, research, and innovation, particularly in the area of artificial intelligence. The hub will offer opportunities for students, entrepreneurs, and experts to collaborate on projects that accelerate business growth and attract new ventures to the region.
