A successful third plenary meeting of the CERTIFY project in Cork (Ireland)

Last week, we were privileged to attend the 3rd plenary meeting of the aCtive sEcurity foR connecTed devIces liFecYcles CERTIFY project in Cork, Ireland. This hybrid event brought together the project partners to discuss the progress and the results achieved so far.

As project partners, we presented the progress made on security issues in view of the importance they have and will have for the different stakeholders of the project. CERTIFY, an initiative that focuses on the security lifecycle management of connected devices, has enabled us to collaborate with other industry leaders in defining a methodological, technological and organisational approach to ensuring security in IoT-enabled environments.

During the meeting, a number of key project areas were discussed, ranging from cybersecurity awareness, security certification and assessment, to the secure integration of IoT devices and the operational management of runtime security.

CERTIFY's main contributions go beyond the current state of the art. These include the creation of a novel framework for managing security throughout the IoT device lifecycle, as well as the enhancement of open hardware security and the implementation of behavioural profiling for improved security.

We are proud to be part of this innovative project that is driving the secure development of connected devices in Europe. We will continue to work to achieve our goals and contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity in the Internet of Things.
