Success at the second general assembly of the dAIEDGE project held in Sofia, Bulgaria

The dAIEDGE project has held its second general assembly. Partners gathered on March 7th and 8th at the Incubator Hall of Sofia Tech Park in Sofia, Bulgaria, for a session organized by the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology (INSAIT).
The meeting served as a stage for each of the consortium members to present the progress that has been made in the work package to which they belong. They also jointly defined the roadmap for the coming months in order to advance the project's objectives. AIR Institute has been present to present all that has been done so far and the steps to follow in the communication and dissemination of the project, as this is our main action within the consortium.

dAIEDGE's main goal is to advance Europe's innovation and technology base by developing a comprehensive policy and governance approach to AI, aiming for the EU to become a global leader in data economy innovation and its applications. To achieve this, the 36 partners, from Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, are working on various technical, scientific, and outreach tasks.

Soon, demonstrations of scientific progress and pilot applications will be launched. Three different use cases will be implemented to ensure the effective integration, evaluation, and validation of the base algorithms, the infrastructure, and the edge hardware.
Additionally, the first of three open calls will be launched to attract companies or projects interested in using the dAIEDGE Virtual Laboratory to address specific industrial challenges defined by the project.

The meeting has strengthened strategic alliances between partners and established the path forward in line with the objectives set out in the dAIEDGE project.
