AIR Institute at +Industry: An Opportunity to Strengthen Connections in the Technological and Industrial Sectors
From 3rd to 5th June, the AIR Institute travelled to Bilbao to take part in +Industry 2025 — an event that brings together key technological fields such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, big data, IoT, and cybersecurity.
Under the slogan “All of Industry Here”, the event hosted more than 870 exhibiting companies at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), with participants from Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, China, the United States, India, and Taiwan. Collectively, they presented over 1,300 innovative products at the trade fair.
This year’s edition featured seven co-located exhibitions, covering sectors linked to manufacturing processes, supply chains, and industrial digitalisation — all designed to foster collaboration and business opportunities through innovation and networking.
On this occasion, the AIR Institute showcased two of its European projects: Certify and dAIEDGE, highlighting the progress made to date, along with training and research opportunities available for students and professionals working in IoT and Edge Computing.
Certify, a project focused on enhancing security throughout the lifecycle of IoT devices, took the opportunity to promote its second infoday, “Driving Innovation for a Robust European Ecosystem”, which will be held online on 10th June.
Meanwhile, the dAIEDGE project, which explores artificial intelligence in Edge environments, shared details of its upcoming Open Calls, set to launch this summer, offering participants up to €60,000 to support their AI research.
Over the course of the three-day event, the AIR Institute forged key connections with both national and international companies, including Thales, Bullhost, Cybertix, Osapiens, Uptek, and CEXCO.
Following this productive and enriching experience, we’ve already added the next edition of +Industry to our calendar, as we continue to champion innovative and sustainable initiatives in this global arena driven by technology and networking.
