The International Hub for Video Games and Animation, “El Jap!”, Launches 100 Internship Scholarships at Companies Based in Castilla y León
The International Hub for Video Games and Animation, “El Jap!”, has opened the call for applications to its scholarship programme through the Clave Programme, aimed at supporting the hiring of students and graduates in fields related to Video Games, Animation, and the development of Interactive 3D Applications, for companies with offices in Castilla y León.
The scholarships last six months and may be full-time or part-time, with the aim of encouraging collaboration between academia and industry and promoting the acquisition of practical experience. The monthly scholarship amount for full-time participation is €1,080 gross.
In total, 100 placements are available — 40 full-time and 60 part-time — all of which must be completed in person. Graduates must have obtained their qualifications within the last five years. Final-year university and vocational training students are also eligible to apply.

These scholarships are part of the “El Jap!” programme, a project of AIR Institute and the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL), an agency under the Regional Government of Castilla y León. This programme, which operates as a vertical of ICECYL’s Wolaria accelerator, seeks to establish the region as a benchmark in innovation and to position Castilla y León as a key player in the video games and animation industry, attracting talent and supporting the development of innovative projects. The initiative is supported by industry experts, sector companies, and institutional partners such as the University of Salamanca and the Salamanca City Council.
