The Science Park of the University of Salamanca will host the “Technology Breakfast: Digitalisation Grants for SMEs” on 26th February. This event is organised by AIR Institute in collaboration with the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL) as part of the Centr@tec programme.

The AIR Institute is the main organiser of the first infoday for the European Certify project, focusing on the implementation of cybersecurity actions in IoT environments within Industry 5.0. The event will take place on 17th March 2025.

AIR Institute recently hosted the event "Women, Science and Technology: Challenges and Opportunities", held in recognition of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Last week, Farms4Climate project partners convened in Cairo, Egypt, to showcase innovative digital solutions for Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) in carbon farming.

The Salamanca Provincial Council and the Acelera SME Initiative have organised the event "Virtual Reality: Application to Rural Businesses". The event was held in the press room of Santa Marta de Tormes Town Hall, which, alongside the AIR Institute, served as a key collaborator.

The International Hub for Video Games and Animation, a project by AIR Institute and ICECYL, organised this initiative over an entire weekend, with Zamora serving as a host city for the Global Game Jam 2025.

AIR Institute participated in HiPEAC 2025 through the dAIEDGE project, where, along with its partners, it led various workshops and strengthened collaboration ties with other universities, companies, and European projects.

This meeting marked a significant step forward in the consortium's commitment to supporting small forest owners through advanced tools, sustainable management models, and a unified framework for ecosystem services.

The advanced camera used in the project and the application of artificial intelligence have led to major advances in the imaging module for monitoring bird populations.
