The aim of the event "Supercomputing and business innovation in Castilla y León" was to promote, within the framework of DIGIS3 and among Salamanca entrepreneurs, the role of high-performance computing in the smart, sustainable, and cohesive digital transformation of both SMEs and public administration entities.

The meeting at which this announcement was made, was attended by the Association of Technology Centers of Castilla y León and the representatives of all the centers that make up this entity, among them the AIR Institute.

Isidoro Alanís, CEO of Global Exchange Group and member of the Executive Committee of AIR Institute, has been awarded during the CEOE Castilla y León 2022 Awards for his great work at the head of one of the most important companies in the world in the currency exchange sector.

The AIR Institute achieved a development milestone with the inauguration of its new headquarters on Avenida Santiago Madrigal, in the district of Puente Ladrillo. A conference was held at the new headquarters "Salamanca Tech: Aeronautical Industry. An engine for technological development", in which Bertrand Masson, Vice-President of Airbus, took part. The inaguration was widely covered in the media in Salamanca, but also in the regional and national press.

AIR Institute and the Salamanca Town Council have joined forces to promote Salamanca as a national benchmark in technological innovation. The International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Foundation (AIR Institute) has begun a new journey in the municipal building of the Centre for Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, located on Avenida Santiago Madrigal.
