ProductPass is a project focused on developing an advanced digital infrastructure for the Product Digital Passport (DPP), aligned with ecodesign regulatory initiatives within the European Green Deal. Its objective is to help companies across various sectors manage their product data comprehensively, including information on composition, environmental footprint, use, maintenance, recycling and traceability throughout the entire product life cycle.
To this end, the project proposes an interoperable and secure platform, supported by cutting-edge and transformative technologies such as blockchain and zero-knowledge proofs, together with other advanced data management and protection components. The approach aims to ensure the privacy, reliability and availability of corporate data related to the DPP, while facilitating compliance with European regulations and reinforcing trust in product-related information. In this way, ProductPass not only addresses new regulatory requirements, but also lays the groundwork for more transparent, traceable and efficient management of industrial data.
