RETECHFOR (REd TECnológica y territorial para el monitoreo forestal y la reducción de desastres ambientales como palancas para el desarrollo de la Bioeconomía FORestal) is an initiative that seeks to mitigate the damage caused by wildfires and other environmental disasters through disruptive technologies.
A project promoted by the Autonomous Communities of Castilla y León and the Canary Islands, it focuses on the digitalization of the environmental sector, the integration of aerial and satellite platforms with high-precision sensors, and the intensive use of data analytics to improve forest land management.
The project is aligned with the objectives of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and with national strategic missions related to the environment, digitalization and sustainable development.
