AIR Institute welcomes at its facilities students from the Research Centre for Global Governance of the University of Salamanca

This week we have received at the AIR Institute facilities the students of the Law and Technology training course of the Research Centre for Global Governance (abbreviated to CIGG in Spanish) of the University of Salamanca.

During their stay at the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence Centre, AIR Institute's headquarters in Salamanca, specialists from the AI, blockchain and metaverse teams showed the students the different projects being developed at the technology centre, with special emphasis on disruptive technologies and their connection to law.

In addition to showcasing the ongoing developments and the work to be done in the coming months, the students were given a presentation on AI and its legal implications, which is closely related to the work being carried out at the CIGG. Its activity is oriented towards the study and research of all areas that can contribute to good governance and the exemplary nature of public institutions, as well as improving the civic awareness of citizens and the behaviour of private economic operators. During this lecture, the challenges and opportunities that AI represents in legal practice were also presented.

It was a pleasure to welcome the CIGG students and to listen to their valuable contributions. Visits like this are a great opportunity for AIR Institute to strengthen relationships and collaborations with institutions and bodies in the city of Salamanca and Castilla y León; this is something that the AIR Institute strives to do, and evidence of this is its membership in the Network of Technology Centres of Castilla y León (NODDO).
