Reports Channel

The AIR Institute Reports Channel is a tool designed to enable both employees and third parties to alert the organisation to possible acts of fraud, corruption, harassment or other misconduct carried out by its staff and board of trustees. This platform is established without prejudice to any criminal or employment consequences that may arise from such acts.

The Whistleblowing Channel provides a secure and confidential means of reporting incidents anonymously, if desired. All reports received will be evaluated for their plausibility, and if there is sufficient evidence or indication, the corresponding investigation procedures will be initiated. In summary, the main steps are:

  1. Submission of the complaint: via the online form, by post or by requesting a face-to-face meeting. Complaints may be anonymous.
  2. Confirmation of receipt: the complainant will receive confirmation of receipt within a maximum of 7 days.
  3. Internal management: the Legal Department will review the complaint and, if appropriate, take the necessary action in an objective and confidential manner.
  4. Final response: within a maximum period of 3 months (extendable to 6 in complex cases), the outcome and the measures taken are communicated.
  5. Guaranteed protection: the identity of the complainant is kept confidential and no reprisals are taken.

It is important to note that the Whistleblower Channel is not intended to receive suggestions, proposals, or other considerations of a nature other than reports of misconduct. Nor should it be used to generate unfounded conflicts or false reports, as evidence will be required to support the allegations made and there may be liability for false reporting.
