The El Jap! Team Grows at the AIR Institute

Following the significant momentum of El Jap!, a project led by the AIR Institute in collaboration with the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICECYL) and the regional government of Castilla y León, the team is expanding with the aim of strengthening the organisation and promotion of its various activities.

With a mission to create engaging and innovative content, Rebeca Rodríguez, a graduate in Animation from the University Centre for Digital Technology and Art (U-tad), has joined the team. Rebeca's role is to bring a fresh and fun approach to the project's website and social media. In doing so, she is helping to fulfil one of the main goals of El Jap!: to make it an increasingly dynamic project known for its cutting-edge animations and video games.

Additionally, Rebeca is responsible for publicising the various training, collaboration, and employment opportunities that this project offers across different technological and innovation outreach platforms.

Through this professional opportunity, she plans to develop her skills in marketing and communication, while also enhancing her animation expertise through direct interaction with experts discussing the latest techniques and resources in the industry.

El Jap!

El Jap! is a project set to revolutionise the field of animation and video games in Castilla y León through a variety of training, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities, including events for networking with industry experts.

Every month, it features a range of activities aimed at industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and students. To date, it has had the pleasure of hosting experts like Borja Montoro and Rocío Tomé, and in November it will welcome Niko Gómez, the creator of Cálico Electrónico. Furthermore, there will be a roundtable on Concept Art featuring special guests such as Esther Morales from Alarico, Juanma from Big Bang Box, and Kevin from Pentakill. Simultaneously, the course on Briefing and Script Creation will be held, followed by a Concept Art for Video Games and Animation course in December.
