Driving business models and solutions with Edge AI
Tomorrow, one of the key events in the field of artificial intelligence and edge computing in Europe will take place in Salamanca: ‘Driving business models and solutions with Edge AI’, organised by the dAIEDGE project, in which we are actively involved. This hybrid event (you can attend in person at the R&D&I Building of the University of Salamanca) will bring together leading researchers and professionals to explore Edge AI in depth, as well as the opportunities offered by dAIEDGE through its open calls, where you can win up to €60,000.
At the AIR Institute, we would like to highlight the participation of our colleague Sergio Márquez, who will discuss the advances and opportunities arising from the fusion of AI and edge computing in real environments. His presentation will be part of the practical session of the hackathon, where participants will be able to obtain a certificate and be eligible for a big surprise. To participate in the hackathon, you must register in advance and form a team, complying with the following rules:
- Teams must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 participants.
- They must have a name that identifies them and a captain to represent them.
- If you already have a team, each member must register individually, indicating the name of the team they belong to.
The organisation will then verify that the team has three members, and your team will be ready to participate. If you want to participate but don't have a team, don't worry. You can contact the organisation at contact@daiedge.eu, and the event organisers will help you complete or join a team.
The event, which is open and free with prior registration (you can register by clicking here), is part of the initiatives of dAIEDGE, a project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe framework, whose objective is to create a network of excellence in edge AI that strengthens European leadership in this field. Its agenda will include demonstrations, presentations by international experts, and networking spaces to strengthen synergies between research centres and technology companies.
