AIR Institute joins Certify at SIDO 2025 to strengthen collaboration opportunities in IoT and cybersecurity
On 17–18 September, AIR Institute travelled to Lyon, France, to represent Certifyat SIDO 2025. The aim was to showcase progress in its three use cases, now in the project’s final phase, and to create new opportunities for collaboration with companies, researchers, and professionals.
Held at the Cité Internationale de Lyon, the event brought together international leaders in IoT, artificial intelligence, XR, and robotics, establishing itself as a key forum for technological innovation and cybersecurity. It provided Certify with access to a specialised international audience, enabling the project to attract new stakeholders and explore emerging trends in IoT and cybersecurity.
This exchange reinforces the project’s impact as it nears completion, contributing to the validation of its results and the identification of effective measures to assess threats and strengthen digital resilience.
SIDO: the IoT and cybersecurity event in Lyon
SIDO was launched in Lyon in 2015 and has since been held annually in the city. Originally conceived as a meeting point for IoT, it later expanded to include other technological domains such as artificial intelligence, extended reality, and robotics.
In this latest edition, SIDO hosted 380 exhibitors at the Cité Internationale de Lyon and organised more than 70 talks and workshops across these areas of interest. Over two days, the event welcomed more than 9,000 visitors.
