AIR Institute expands its network in policing and security technology sectors
As part of its efforts to attract new stakeholders and broaden its network for future collaborations, AIR Institute took part in the TECNOSEC event in Madrid, held on 24–25 September at Arena Madrid. This gathering has become a landmark event in the global security sector, combining an institutional presence with participation from technology companies, research centres and subject-matter experts.
Dedicated to advanced technologies applied to security, the event brought together public institutions, national law enforcement and security agencies, as well as representatives of critical infrastructures at both national and international level. This setting created the right environment to share experiences, analyse trends and explore collaboration opportunities aimed at strengthening security and resilience in an era of increasing digitalisation and technological transformation.
During the event, AIR Institute presented the projects Certify and dAIEDGE, highlighting the centre’s work in IoT device security and the application of artificial intelligence—two key areas for ensuring safer and more trustworthy environments. These initiatives are also positioned as solutions capable of addressing current challenges in the protection of critical infrastructures and strategic services.
Participation in TECNOSEC also provided an opportunity to showcase AIR Institute’s ability to generate innovative technological proposals with direct application in highly sensitive sectors such as defence, public security and emergency services. The potential integration of the presented solutions into the systems used in these fields paves the way for strategic synergies that will contribute to strengthening both digital and physical security in high-risk scenarios.
AIR Institute’s presence at the event not only served to demonstrate the progress achieved in its projects but also reinforced its role as a key player in the ecosystem of technological innovation applied to security. It also underlines our commitment to developing solutions that address present and future needs, within a collaborative environment that fosters international cooperation and advances in critical technologies for society.
