INNO4CFIs Accelerator Announces Third Open Call, Driving Carbon Farming & Green Tech Innovation Across Europe

The INNO4CFIs Acceleration Program has officially launched its third open call, aiming to support up to 15 innovative Green Tech SMEs and startups in Europe. This unique opportunity is designed for forward-thinking, growth- oriented innovators looking to validate and scale their carbon farming or green technology solutions, with a strong focus on environmental impact and market readiness

Accelerator Highlights

  • Equity-Free Support: Up to 15 selected companies will join a 3-month tailored acceleration journey featuring dedicated mentoring, focused clinics, and curated networking with ecosystem actors.
  • Market Validation and IMUH Access: Participants are onboarded to the Interregional Market Uptake Hub (IMUH), a pan-European marketplace that connects solution seekers and technology providers, enabling testbeds, targeted matchmaking, and promotional opportunities.
  • TRL Progression: Solutions at TRL 6 or higher receive guidance to progress toward TRL 9, with attention to circularity, regulatory readiness, and the evolving European carbon removal certification landscape.
  • Carbon Farm Technology Platform: Companies may also be invited to interface with the emerging Carbon Farm Technology Platform from INNO4CFIs, designed to increase CO2 uptake and deliver co-benefits such as freshwater sustainability, dryland restoration, and biodiversity gains across European innovation ecosystems.

Who should apply?
INNO4CFIs invites SMEs and startups based in Europe and addressing urgent environmental challenges and advancing sustainability. All green-tech solutions are welcome, with strong encouragement for Carbon Farming and CO2 sequestration approaches. Priority themes include, but are not limited to:
