In this regard, the consortium formed by the company Eurostar Mediagroup and the technology centre AIR Institute proposes the multidisciplinary project HyperLender, whose main objective is to research low consumption Distributed ledger Technologies, Self-Sovereign Identity techniques and Ethical Social Artificial Intelligence to design a P2P platform for performing microloan operations between individuals. These microloan operations will be characterised as smart contracts executed on a low consumption distributed ledger (such as green blockchains or Directed Acyclic Graphs). Moreover, lenders and borrowers will use Self-Sovereign Identity techniques to authenticate themselves in the platform, without the need to revert to a centralised authority. Furthermore, HyperLender platform will include an Ethical intelligent microloan recommender system based on user preferences and needs (by subject, risk level, loan purpose).
