Towards a 360 technological model

Every technology that we research in the AIR-Institute is in itself full of potential for the business world, however when we combine those technologies they become even more efficient.  The benefit of integrating the 360 technological model in different sectors has been especially evident in administration, operations, service design, finances and marketing sectors.

New and innovative cases for IoT have emerged thanks to the availability of bandwidth, unlimited computational capacity through working on the cloud and an infinite amount of data also stored on the cloud. These new cases are particularly interesting when considered in the context of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.

We strive to contribute to the development of those technologies here at the AIR-Institute, it is a group effort in which all our members share, with the society, their knowledge on Blockchain, Internet of Things and Natural Language Processing. We employ deep neural networks in different data learning tasks, for example, for the detection of similar objects in images, health problems prediction. We also develop robots that react to human emotions in sectors such as life Science, computing, food and agro-tech, aerospace, energy and clean-tech, industrial technologies, telecom, new materials or chemistry.
