Women in AI
International Women's Day took place on March 8th, and AIR Institute would like to highlight the importance of women in the world of Artificial Intelligence.
This wonderful day, under the slogan #BalanceforBetter, has celebrated the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Women are playing an increasingly important role in Artificial Intelligence projects, associations such as WAI (non-profit working towards gender-inclusive AI that benefits global society) are great advocates for women's work in technologies linked to Artificial Intelligence.
The European Commission is also actively promoting the increasing participation of women in the digital sector, challenging all stereotypes. This will be achieved through the promotion of digital skills and education. Some of the actions aimed at achieving this are:
- The Declaration on Gender-Balanced Company Culture
- The European Network for Women in Digital
- The No Women no Panel initiative
- The Women in Digital Scoreboard
- The Digital Skills Awards
The AIR-Insitute is aware of the importance of women in Artificial Intelligence, we are committed to keeping to the guidelines established by associations such as WAI or the European Commission.
