Air Institute collaborates with Alastria, TDDS, and the Insular Council of Formentera on launching a sustainable solution for the tourist sector

At the last Foro Transfiere, European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, Alastria launched an Open Call in collaboration with Tourism Data Driven Solutions (TDDS) and the Insular Council of Formentera, for the presentation of projects on sustainable, blockchain-driven development of the tourist sector.

Air Institute participated in this open call by submitting a proposal that aims to balance the flow of tourism and promote the sustainable use of natural resources. Our solution is based on decentralization, traceability, tokenization and self-executing smart contracts. We won the challenge and have been awarded 10,000 euros for the development of the project.

Air Institute will continue working with Alastria, TDDS and the Island Council of Formentera to adapt this solution to the needs of the island and thus make Formentera a global benchmark of sustainable tourism.
