The rise of connected devices
The growth of the Internet of Things has been so rapid that we already find ourselves surrounded by connected devices without even realizing it.
Connected objects are part of every aspect of our lives, from work, to our home, to vehicles, and even our own bodies.
One of the great objections and fears that surround this type of devices is security. That is why cybersecurity advances are soaring. The accelerated development of connected objects has made it necessary for both security and the relevant legislative regulations to keep up at the same pace.
The European Commissioner for Competition, Margrethe Vestager, estimates that the number of connected devices in our homes will reach 184 million by 2023.
The AIR Institute strives to generate optimal security systems for these objects, as well as generate new connected objects that make life better and easier for citizens.
