Digital Kit Programme: An Opportunity for the Digitization of SMEs and the Self-Employed

The AIR Institute in collaboration with the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) and the Salamanca Chamber of Commerce, have organised the conference "Digital Kit Programme: An Opportunity for the Digitalisation of SMEs and Self-Employed. During the event, the Centr@tec Programme will also be presented.

The Digital Kit programme is a public economic aid initiative, financed by the Next Generation EU funds. This programme, introduced by the Spanish Government, aims to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions available on the market in order to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity.

For its part, the Centr@tec Programme promotes training and support actions for business R&D&I of the ICE, which is part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network of Castilla y León (www.redei.es). In addition to strengthening the centres' structures, the Centr@Tec programme includes training activities and the development of personalised, high added-value services for companies in the region.

Both programmes are aimed at offering digital solutions to meet the needs of small companies, micro-enterprises and self-employed workers who wish to digitise their business.

This meeting will take place on 16 May in the Presentation Room of the R&D&I Building at the University of Salamanca. Calle Espejo, 2, 37007 Salamanca, from 9:30 to 13:00.

The aim of the conference is to present both programmes and to publicise the lines of aid for digitalisation currently offered by the ICE, so that companies and entrepreneurs can apply for them. In addition, two companies will talk about their experiences in digital innovation initiatives.
