AIR Institute participates in the second Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting

AIR Institute has once again participated in the Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting, organised by the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU). The conference consisted in two parts; on the one hand, the Industry 4.0 Solutions Expo, where 41 technological demonstrators will be located, and on the other hand, the Industrial Track 4.0 Technical Conferences (3rd edition), which will show trends and use cases in industrial digitalisation.

Mario Pampliega, President of DIHBU, Vicente Marañón, President of Promueve Burgos and Deputy Mayor of Burgos City Council, and Rosa Planelles, Managing Director of Kaudal, the private backer of the event, took part in the opening ceremony. Planelles explained to the attendees that Kaudal-Grupo Arquimea- was born as a startup and now, years later "we want to help new projects, as we are a company dedicated to financing the R&D&I ecosystem through private investment".

After the speeches by the authorities, there was a tour of the exhibition of technology demonstrators, a total of 38 spaces showing 41 innovative solutions that have already been tested in real environments. The exhibitors, from all over Spain - Burgos, Valladolid, Salamanca, Pamplona, Barcelona, Madrid, Santander, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Malaga, Cartagena, among others - will be available for visitors to see their technology operating in real time.

The exhibition opened to the general public yesterday and will be on display until 7.30 p.m. Wednesday. Entry is free of charge. Here you can see the complete list of the Expo (https://www.dihbu40.es/expo-industria-4-0-burgos-segunda-edicion/).

The second Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting has the special collaboration of Kaudal and the Junta de Castilla y León (Economy and Finance Department, General Directorate of Industry and Competitiveness) and other collaborations of companies such as Gonvarri Steel Services, Eurofirms and Tecland Innovation.  The European Digital Innovation Centre DIGIS3 is also providing special support for the event.

Industrial Track 4.0 Technical Conferences

The third Technical Conferences will focus on the dissemination of cases of application of technology linked to Industry 4.0 and innovative solutions implemented in industrial environments, with the participation of knowledge centres, advanced engineering companies and host industry.  They will also address horizontal issues, such as the management of talent and available resources in this digitalisation scenario, through specific sessions and round tables.
