Special Issue "The Advances of Smart Services for the Creation of Adaptive Smart Areas in Sustainable Smart Cities"
In recent years, we have seen cities undergo a major transformation thanks to high investments in resources and research projects. The challenge of a smart city is to identify intelligent and adaptive assets through which valuable knowledge may be extracted.
IoT analyzes data and extracts this knowledge, and along with the help of other smart city platforms, the government's decision-making and resource allocation can be optimized.
Our colleagues and other contributors are participating as editors of the Special Issue of the Electronics Journal: "The Advances of Smart Services for the Creation of Adaptive Smart Areas in Sustainable Smart Cities". We would like to invite you to send your contributions. Your submissions must not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except for conference proceedings articles).

Research and smart cities
The authors of papers selected for the Sustainable Smart Cities and Territories International Conference (SSCt2023) will be invited to submit an extended and improved version for this Special Issue.
SSCt2023 will bring together researchers and developers from academia and industry to present the latest scientific and technical advances in the fields of smart cities and smart territories. The SSCt2023 program includes keynote lectures, a main technical track, a workshop program and a PhD consortium and will be held from 21-23 June 2023 in Manizales (Colombia).
