Global Exchange CEO and AIR Institute trustee Isidoro Alanís, entrepreneur of the year in Salamanca

Isidoro Alanís, CEO of Global Exchange Group and member of the Executive Committee of AIR Institute, has been awarded during the CEOE Castilla y León 2022 Awards for his great work at the head of one of the most important companies in the world in the currency exchange sector.

The Salamanca-based multinational company Global Exchange has been dedicated to currency exchange for more than 25 years, progressively expanding its scope to more than 350 offices in 24 countries around the world, carrying out some 22,000 daily transactions and positioning itself as the second company specialized in this service at a global level.

Isidoro Alanís received recognition as businessman of the year from the Confederation of Business Organizations of Castilla y León (CEOE CyL) at the gala held in Salamanca. The CEOE Castilla y León Awards, held annually with the aim of recognizing "all those entrepreneurs and companies that are an active example of business commitment and dedication", were attended in this XXX edition by the president of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, and the president of CEPYME, Gerardo Cueva, serving as a showcase for the business fabric of the province and the region.

During the presentation of his award by the Mayor of Salamanca, Carlos García Carbayo, and the President of CEOE CEPYME Salamanca, Diego García, Isidoro Alanís wanted to share his award with the nearly 2,500 employees of his company and expressed his gratitude for the recognition that the awards represent for the efforts of the entrepreneurs of the province.
