AIR Institute takes part in a meeting with Digital Innovation Hubs to strenghten knowledge exchange

The 6G-IA association brings together a global industry community of telecommunications and digital technology players, such as research institutes, universities, SMEs and other associations, carrying out a range of activities such as this meeting in strategic areas such as R&D projects, technological expertise and international cooperation, among others.

AIR Institute, as a member of 6G-IA, participated in the first "Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) to strengthen knowledge exchange with SNS community and collaboration". The event was held online together with different DIHs to foster collaboration, thus aligning with the objective of DIGIS3, the EDIH of which AIR Institute is a member together with Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), DIHBU, DIH-LEAF, IoT DIH, University of León and Supercomputing Center of Castilla y León (SCAYLE).

The connection between the event and DIGIS3 is that the latter is an EDIH that is configured as a disseminator of intelligent, cohesive and sustainable digitization, seeking to help companies by offering services and applying the most innovative technologies to promote competitiveness.

The event aims to develop the necessary connections between end users (industries) and technology providers to drive technology innovation and application. With this goal in mind, different initiatives are being developed focused on technology supplier mapping and replicability. The event included presentations on replicability initiatives, smart connectivity, smart manufacturing and the "DIH journey", led by Javier Parra, Chief Scientist of Economic Area of IoT DIH.
