Farms4Climate, selected to join FUTURE4PRIMA initiative aimed at enhancing research and innovation
AIR Institute is coordinating the Farms4Climate project: Smart governance and operational models for agroecological carbon farming. The project involves collaboration with members from other countries. Indeed, its consortium comprises organisations such as AlVelAl (Spain), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, UNIBAS and Agreement (Italy), Sekem (Egypt) and INRGREF (Tunisia), among others.
Thanks to its progress in environmental practices and carbon farming, the project has recently been selected to join the FUTURE4PRIMA initiative. This recognition comes under the framework of the “Business Accelerator Program” following a positive evaluation of the innovative potential of Farms4Climate.
As part of this initiative, Farms4Climate will benefit from PRIMA2Business services, designed to strengthen the commercialisation strategies of PRIMA projects and maximise their impact. This includes participation in a specialised training programme with the following features:
- Duration: Three to four months, starting in February or March 2025.
- Format: Three workshops (two online and one in-person), alongside individual online coaching sessions.
- Activities: Development of valorisation and commercialisation strategies, as well as the preparation of a pitch deck.
At the end of this programme, Farms4Climate will take part in a workshop where the initiative will be presented to international stakeholders. The most outstanding projects will be awarded €10,000 for specialised services aimed at delivering the results to the market.
AIR Institute and the other consortium members are continuing to work with dedication and will do so throughout 2025 to seize this opportunity and contribute to building a sustainable future.
