dAIEDGE triumphs with its proposals at HiPEAC 2025
AIR Institute participated in HiPEAC 2025 through the dAIEDGE Network of Excellence project, where, along with its partners, it led various workshops and strengthened collaboration ties with other universities, companies, and European projects.
During HiPEAC, which took place in Barcelona from 20th to 22nd January 2025, dAIEDGE organised three workshops: "Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing", "AccML: Accelerated Machine Learning", and "Charting the Future of Edge AI: Functional and Non-Functional Requirements in the Age of Generative AI". These workshops were very well received by the participants, with the rooms remaining full throughout the sessions, which ran from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
On the first day, 20th January, the focus was on the convergence of AI and edge computing, with an emphasis on technological advancements related to data processing and AI algorithms that lead to new services and products.
The two remaining workshops were held on 21st January and were primarily focused on machine learning systems and the combination of the Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing, always highlighting innovative perspectives within the field of AI.
During these three days, dAIEDGE was also present at the exhibition hall, specifically at booth 23, where participants gathered to learn more about the project's specifics and opportunities for synergy in the field of AI EDGE, emphasising the impact of this architecture in the current technological context.
