AIR Institute strengthens its artificial intelligence capabilities with a new addition
The AIR Institute team continues to grow, welcoming young talent from a range of disciplines. Artificial intelligence remains one of the key focus areas, attracting an increasing number of projects through synergies with fields such as blockchain, electronics, and cybersecurity. This expansion is further driven by the Institute’s commitment to sharing research and advancements at local, regional (Salamanca and Castilla y León), national, and international levels.
In late 2024, Javier Fran Abadía joined the team. With a deep interest in the potential of artificial intelligence, he now works as an AI developer at AIR Institute, where he focuses on designing and training models for predictive maintenance across various initiatives.
The AIR Institute has, as one of its main objectives, the creation of job opportunities for professionals in the areas of science, technology and innovation, which represents a strategic commitment to the development of local and global talent. By encouraging the training and recruitment of experts in these fields, it not only boosts the growth of careers in highly demanded sectors, but also seeks to position Salamanca as an international benchmark in technology. This vision has a direct impact on strengthening the region's technological ecosystem, attracting both companies and cutting-edge projects that benefit the economic and social environment.
