AIR Institute Participates in the First Infoday of the Certify Project
AIR Institute was one of the organisers of the first Infoday held by the Certify Project, together with DIGIS3, on 17th March in an online format.
Under the title “Cybersecurity and IoT in Industry 5.0”, the event was divided into nine segments, beginning with a clear explanation of the objectives and actions driven by each of the key projects featured during the day.
Throughout the Infoday, attendees gained in-depth insights from experts at Collins Aerospace, Trust Square, and Digital Worx on various scenarios influenced by IoT technology. Discussions focused on the threats and risks that arise when security systems are neglected and appropriate preventive measures are not implemented.
During the event, the "Certify – Industrial Cybersecurity" course was also presented. Available on the e4YOU platform, this course delves into cybersecurity in IoT environments, with a particular focus on scenarios related to Certify’s pilot projects, such as aircraft cockpits, smart micro-factories, and the monitoring of artworks.
To conclude, a session was dedicated to addressing questions arising from the presentations related to Industry 5.0. Additionally, synergies were fostered through the matchmaking initiative proposed by DIGIS3.
Certify in IoT Environments
The Certify project, funded by the European Horizon programme, comprises 12 partners from eight countries, including the University of Murcia, the University of Zurich, Red Alert Labs, and Collins Aerospace.
Through its pilot projects, Certify aims to contribute to the lifecycle management of security in IoT devices, enabling the detection and mitigation of risks, as well as reconfiguration to ensure their proper functionality.
