Indian Leaders Programme Visits AIR Institute Laboratories
As part of the 2025 edition of the Indian Leaders Programme, representatives visited the facilities of the AIR Institute during their stop in Salamanca. This year's edition is themed “Eco-Startups: Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship.”
The Indian Leaders Programme was launched to provide leading Indian professionals with an up-to-date perspective on Spain’s current landscape across their respective sectors. The visit to our facilities gave them the opportunity to explore the technologies we apply in various projects.
Our colleagues Marta Crespo, from the Human Resources department, and David Franco, from the DIGIS3 project coordination team, guided the tour and introduced the teams involved in the visit.
The first part of the tour included a walkthrough of the 3D and Metaverse department, where the visitors learned about the projects currently in development. These were of particular interest to some of the Leaders whose startups are focused on drone technology.
Next, our colleagues from the Electronics and Hardware department presented a range of innovative solutions, including temperature sensors for grain silos, air quality monitors, smart crutches that measure applied weight, and a device for analysing blood samples to detect diseases.
The visit continued with a presentation by the Cybersecurity department, which showcased the use of Artificial Intelligence for anomaly detection.
The tour concluded with an exchange of ideas around how these technologies could be implemented in India, along with discussions on opportunities for future collaboration and continued dialogue.
