El Jap! showcases trends in video games and animation with its new current affairs section

The International Hub for Video Games and Animation, El Jap!, a project by AIR Institute and the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL), has launched a new current affairs section titled ‘El Jap! Informa’.

This new area of the website, also featured on social media, acts as a technological observatory, aiming to monitor and analyse emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities in the video game and digital animation sectors.

Through eljap.es, users can stay informed about current developments in both industries, with content covering events, training opportunities, in-house initiatives, and news from various developers, distributors, and production companies.

Scholarships for working in video game and animation companies in Castilla y León

Recently, El Jap! launched a scholarship programme through the Clave Programme, aimed at promoting the employment of students and recent graduates in companies based in Castilla y León.

The scholarships last for six months, either full-time or part-time, with a gross monthly stipend of €1,080 for full-time roles. Eligible graduates must have obtained their qualification within the past five years. Final-year university and vocational training students in fields related to video games, animation, or the development of interactive 3D applications may also apply.
