AIR Institute invites you to take part in SECON, a conference promoted by the Certify Project

On behalf of the Certify Project, the AIR Institute is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd Special Session on Secure and Cognitive Continuum (SECON), which will be held as part of the 9th International Conference on Mobile Internet Security (MobiSec´25) from 16 to 18 December.

This second edition welcomes paper submissions — open until 16 September — on topics related to the development of automated tools and mechanisms that enable seamless interconnection, efficient data processing for machine learning (ML) workloads, and secure, distributed edge storage.

Aligned with the core objectives of the Certify Project, the session also aims to encourage discussion on technologies influencing the entire life cycle of IoT devices and the role of artificial intelligence in this context, with particular emphasis on the security of emerging ecosystems.

Key information

Submitted papers must be at least five pages long, follow the EasyChair format, and address one or more of the following areas:

  • Resource orchestration
  • Cognitive resource management
  • Hyper-distributed computing
  • AI-driven management
  • Data and service discovery
  • Data spaces and applications in distributed environments
  • Cybersecurity in the IoT–edge–cloud continuum
  • Secure data sharing
  • Trusted execution environments
  • Application domains of continuum computing

Once a paper is accepted, at least one of the authors must register for the session and present their work at SECON.

For further details and to submit your paper, please visit the MobiSec’25 website.
