MeetechSpain 2025: The Major Gathering of Technology Centres
On 13 November, Madrid will host a new edition of meetechSpain, an event organised by the Spanish Federation of Technology Centres (Fedit). The event will bring together Technology Centres, companies, researchers, scientists, and technology leaders to analyse the key factors that will shape competitiveness and industrial transformation in the coming years.
AIR Institute will attend this edition as a Technology Centre to experience first-hand the main technological trends through live demonstrators, specialised workshops, and a hackathon featuring real technological challenges.
MeetechSpain 2025 will feature eight round tables addressing major trends in innovation, technology, and sustainability. The discussions will explore topics such as Security and Defence 4.0 and how the industry of the future will operate as a collaborative ecosystem driven by generative artificial intelligence and other technologies. There will also be sessions focusing on the application of technology in the agri-food sector and on how to integrate life-cycle analysis into product and service design to achieve decarbonisation.
Other round tables will examine digital and personalised health, R&D&I cooperation, the economic and social impact of Technology Centres, and, finally, public policies on science and innovation through the strategies and action lines that will shape the future of R&D&I in Spain.

Innovation You Can Touch
In addition to the debates, MeetechSpain 2025 will offer a unique experiential format. In the Tech&Touch Zone, attendees will be able to “touch innovation” through various technological demonstrators, showcasing real examples ranging from collaborative robotics and industrial cybersecurity to autonomous drones, lightweight structures for future vehicles, and smart medical devices providing oxygen therapy to chronic patients.
The event will also include thematic workshops on artificial intelligence, human-machine interaction, new materials, and advanced data management, along with a Technological Challenge led by Enagás, where researchers, experts, and technologists will compete by developing real solutions based on distributed sensing, connectivity, IoT, sustainability, and predictive behavioural models.
Without a doubt, MeetechSpain 2025 will be a great opportunity to experience technology hands-on and interact with other technology centres and companies, fostering potential future partnerships.
